Baltic Wood
BALTIC FLOOR® parquet boards are produced only from natural timber which makes them free from harmful chemical compounds, warm and user friendly. Timber used for the production process comes from the controlled falling sites, which is an important factor in healthy forest ecosystem preservation. BALTIC FLOOR® parquet boards production process is based on a pro-ecological and rational raw material management, resulting in significant reduction of waste. Waste in the form of timber off cuts and dust are burned in modern and safe kilns, and thermal energy from this burning process is used during the production process of the panel parquet and by other manufacturers, who have their plants located in the vicinity of the BALTIC FLOOR® plant. They work today, but they never forget about the future!
The production of the Baltic Wood floating parquets is based on environment-friendly, rational raw-material management, thanks to which the amount of waste generated during the production process is considerably reduced. Clippings and wooden dust created during the production are incinerated in state-of-the-art, secure installations, and the heat generated in this manner is used for heating purposes of the producer and nearby workshops.
The high quality of the products and of the production process is guaranteed by:ISO 9001 certificate, which confirms the implementation of the quality management system in the company. ISO 14001 certificate, which confirms the implementation of the environmental management system in the production plants. ISO 14001 is an international standard which determines principles of the supervision of activities which influence the environment, including the use of natural resources, management of industrial waste and the use of energy. Baltic Wood is proud to be Poland’s only producer of parquet which has been granted the ISO 14001 certificate.
The FSC marking The FSC marking on the products testifies to the fact that timber used for their production comes from forests where Good Forest Management Practices are ensured. These principles are established by the agreement among the members of the Forest Stewardship Council. The M1 Certificate Baltic Wood floating parquets have been granted the M1 certificate, which apply to construction materials and elements of interior furnishing. It confirms that the product meets the strictest Scandinavian norms on the emission of harmful chemical pollutants.

Baltic Wood products are guaranteed for a period of 30 years. The unique three-layer structure of the parquet enhances its flexibility and increases their resistance to outside conditions (humidity and temperature changes). -
The hardwood layer of superb wood (about 3.6 mm thick) is coated with special wood filler and then with six layers of high quality varnish, additionally hardened by UV-rays. -
The middle layer is made up of crosswise placed spruce battens that improve elasticity of the board. -
The bottom layer, made up of spruce veneer, stabilises and stiffens the whole construction
Three row slats or full plankBaltic Wood floors come in two models: full plank parquet boards and three row slats. The full plank board is at its best in large rooms where, when properly exposed, it enhances the unique character of the room. The three row slat board complements both large and small rooms.
BALTIC FLOOR® parquet boards are offered in two joining / assembly systems: traditional groove and tongue, glued and the glue-less Baltic LOC system (see joining systems).
